Digestive Reset:
Spring
Feel lighter, more energetic and in balance
Maybe you feel too…
One of my clients felt exhausted all the time with brain fog and pain, barely able to live the life she wanted. She’d been told “this is it” with her diagnoses and medication. But when we sat down and went through her actual daily rhythm and her eating and sleeping habits, the basics were off. They’d accumulated over time into something deeply unsupportive for her body.
As she started eating more nourishing cooked meals, drink cooked water and sleeping earlier, her body responded fairly quickly. The brainfog cleared, her energy came back, her pain reduced and she didn’t need the afternoon naps, that actually left her feeling more tired, anymore. She said the difference was obvious even though the changes were basic.
That’s the moment I keep coming back to, because it makes me wonder what would change if we started somewhere else. What if instead of focusing only on the condition, we focused on the person living with it? What if you understood your body’s basic needs – the things that actually give you energy and reduce symptoms – and had support in working with them?
When you begin to make choices around nourishment, daily routines, and movement that are right for your body, something shifts. It’s not that the condition magically disappears. It’s that life starts to feel possible again. There’s more energy. Less pain. More of yourself.
That’s what this reset can do.
What is a Digestive Reset?
It’s a gentle, nourishing reset that gives your digestion a break so it can get stronger. Not a fast or juice cleanse.
For 4 weeks, we simplify what you eat, to give your body some well deserved rest and recovery time.
The main tool is kitchari.
A simple dish of rice, mung beans, vegetables, and warming spices. Easy to digest and deeply nourishing. It’s nothing fancy, but it does work really well.
During the reset, you’ll eat kitchari (or variations of it) as your main meals. We build up gradually, reset for a week or two, and then ease back into your normal diet.
And here’s what happens:
Your digestion gets a break. Your body stops spending all its energy trying to process heavy, complicated meals. Instead, it can focus on repair, maintenance, clearing out what’s stuck.
Your mind gets clearer, energy comes back, your sleep improves and your symptoms can reduce.
My first reset
In 2022, I did my first Ayurvedic reset.
It was part of the Ayurveda module of my Yoga therapy training, and honestly? I was a bit nervous about the whole thing.
I was still figuring out how to handle my new chronic kidney disease diagnosis and my perfectionist brain resisted the idea of giving up my morning oatmeal for rice and vegetables. I had also just moved to a community, where we shared lunch together every day – I didn’t want to stand out with my weird eating pattern.
But I did it anyway.
And what I discovered was subtle but powerful.
The simplicity of the reset gave me peace and clarity in my mind. I didn’t have to overthink food, it was already decided. There was more rhythm and structure in my days, leaving me with more energy.
Since then, several routines have stuck and kitchari has become my go-to meal whenever I’m busy, traveling, or just out of balance.
I still have my reset periods, because I know how good it feels to give my body that space.

Who is this for?
This is for you if:
- Your digestion is struggling (bloating, constipation, heartburn, irregular)
- You're tired all the time, even with enough sleep
- You have allergies, catch every cold and your immunity feels weak
- You have chronic health complaints that won't go away
- You're willing to simplify and commit for 4 weeks
This is not for you when:
- You are seeking a quick fix.
- You don't want to make changes in what you eat or do.
- You expect to eat whatever you want and still feel amazing
Why specifically Spring?
Spring is when your body naturally wants to clean up. It’s the perfect moment to clear out, lighten, make space.
If you reset now, in spring:
- You enter summer with more energy
- You feel lighter and clearer
- You want to move and enjoy
If you wait until summer? Then it’s too late. Your body needs cooling and hydration, not cleansing.
Spring is the perfect moment. Your body is ready for it. The conditions are right.
Still not sure?
Maybe you’re thinking: “Will this really work for me? I’ve already tried so many things.”
I get it.
But here’s the difference: this isn’t about adding more. It’s about simplifying.
You’re not taking 10 new supplements. You’re not following a complicated protocol. You’re just giving your body rest so it can do what it’s good at, healing itself.
And you’re not alone. You have a group, you have me, you have a clear plan.
Four weeks and that’s it. And you can always go back to how you ate before.
But I doubt that you will want to.
Are you ready?
Give yourself this. Four weeks to feel lighter, clearer, more energized.
Summer is coming. The time is now to break your patterns.
